If you need a separate number to split your calls between business and domestic or for any reason, but you can't really justify the cost of a separate line, then TwinTalk may be the answer.
TwinTalk works in conjunction with BT's Call Sign service. This gives you two numbers on the same line* and the TwinTalk units separate the calls to the correct telephones. This means that calls each number will only ring on the relevant telephone and can be answered appropriately. You can even put separate answering machines on each number to take messages separately.
The Call Guard feature ensures that only the telephone that is ringing can answer the call and once a call is in progress the other telephone is not able to interrupt the call.
Its easy to install too. TwinTalk simply plugs into your existing extension telephone sockets, then you plug your phones into the TwinTalk. Set the switch on each TwinTalk to decide which telephone number will ring your phone. We can set them up for you too for a small fee.
TwinTalk works on all BT direct exchange lines including Broadband high speed data lines. If you have another supplier, contact us for information on whether Twin Talk will work for you.
TwinTalk is inexpensive at a one-off cost of £34.25 per pair and the BT Call Sign Service is around £2.50** a month. Compare that with the installation and rental of a separate line!
